The weather was so nice that a friend and I took a leisurely stroll along Bulgwangcheon, and before long we were craving something warm and filling. While scouting Eunpyeong-gu restaurants, we ended up at Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong, known for its rich chicken broth.

This place's biggest strength is its creamy, hearty chicken broth simmered down until deep and savory without being overpowering. It's a great ramen spot for eating alone in peace, and it's just as good for a walking date with friends or a partner.

## How to reach Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong from Saejeol Station and the Bulgwangcheon path

Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong is just a short walk from Saejeol Station across Bulgwangcheon. There's a staircase right in front of the restaurant that connects directly to the walking path, which made access really convenient.

We got off at Saejeol Station and chatted as we strolled slowly along Bulgwangcheon. Walking along the creek naturally led us right into the restaurant's path, making it the perfect stop after a walk. Even from a distance, the big red lettering on the white sign stood out, so we found it without any trouble.

Inside Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong there are several 4-person tables along with counter (dachi) seats wrapped around the kitchen. Bright wood interior paired with soft lighting gave the space a warm, cozy feel.

Instead of the dark, heavy atmosphere typical of ramen shops, it felt clean and comfortably put together. It was relaxed enough for a group of friends, and the counter seats made solo dining feel completely fine too.

Once seated, I noticed wet wipes and a neat little serving of beet pickles set out on the table, ready to help yourself. I really liked not having to call a staff member every time I wanted more.

We were in the mood for something with a kick, so we ordered the karai paitan along with a refreshing cola.

The karai paitan looked mouthwatering right away — a pale, thick, foamy broth hiding a subtle reddish seasoning underneath. One spoonful revealed deep, savory richness from the creamy chicken broth first, followed by a gentle, clean spiciness.

It wasn't heavy or overly spicy, so it was easy to finish the whole bowl without feeling weighed down.
