I found a hanok-style bakery 🥐🥐 It's pretty well-located near a subway station — less than a 5-minute walk from Jongno 3-ga station! If you're visiting Ikseon-dong or just taking a stroll nearby, I'd really recommend stopping by — the cute bread-shaped signboard was easy to spot from a distance.

The white bean paste bread was so pretty... When you think of red bean paste breads you usually picture green pea paste or red bean paste, but this one's white bean paste 🩶 So many special menu items, it was fun just picking.

Coffee bread 5.8 ☕️ You know cream sticks are trending these days. This is the coffee version of a cream stick. I'd call it Munhwa Bakery's own special item!!

## Only 4 garlic breads left at 1pm

Munhwa Bakery's garlic bread is ₩6,800, and by the time I arrived around 1pm after lunch, the tray that had once been full was already down to just 4 pieces. If garlic bread is your goal, going a bit earlier seems safer.

And now for the big one — garlic bread 6.8 😍 This is that famous Ikseon-dong garlic bread that people say one bite and two people are done for. Yep, this is what I came for. I arrived around 1pm after lunch and the tray that had been full was already down to just 4 pieces 💦

Munhwa Bakery is a takeout-only shop, so there's no seating inside, and the space is small enough that only two parties can enter at once. Don't go expecting a sit-down café setup.

Since it's a takeout-only shop, there's no seating inside! It's small, so only two parties can come in at once. There were so many delicious-looking breads that someone like me, who's bad at making decisions, had a hard time choosing all at once 💦 So many yummy breads it took me like 348 hours just to pick.

The garlic bread I ordered was cut with scissors right there to make it easy to eat! Now I could nibble on it piece by piece. Nice.

They carefully packed the bread into a paper bag for me. I hugged it to my chest, heart fluttering, and ran home cradling it.

Munhwa Bakery's garlic bread came in 7 big pieces, thickly coated in sticky garlic sauce. Before I knew it, I'd eaten three pieces by myself.

This big, thickly-sauced garlic bread is seriously delicious! The garlic sauce was sticky and generous throughout. It comes in 7 big chunks >_< Before I knew it... I'd eaten three pieces by myself ^^ I used to only get this kind of good garlic bread when I traveled to Jeju Island or Sokcho and hunted down bakeries by the sea — I had no idea there was a place like this right in the middle of Seoul.. hahaha ㅠㅠ
