True to Myeongdong's character, both foreign tourists who'd been shopping and Korean locals were in for lunch. Since the noodle soup has kimchi in it, the broth is spicy, and it paired really well with the jokbal. Eating a piece of jokbal and then taking a spoonful of the kimchi kalguksu broth felt refreshing in the mouth. Jokbal alone might have felt a bit lacking, but with the kimchi kalguksu included too, it felt like a truly hearty lunch. ## Is Miss Jokbal worth a Myeongdong lunch? After a while away from Myeongdong, I was mulling over lunch options and ended up at Miss Jokbal Seoul Myeongdong Branch. I loved that you could eat jokbal from lunchtime, and the Emperor Jokbal we ordered came out generously with a wide range of side dishes, which was satisfying.
