The difference between Yangjaeok's pork gomtang single dish (₩14,000) and set (₩20,000) is the side dishes. In the photo, the left is the single dish and the right is the set — both come with napa cabbage kimchi, soy-seasoned radish, salted octopus, and cheongyang chili pesto. The set adds fresh tofu and stir-fried pork! So the difference is basically whether you just want the soup or the soup plus sides! I liked dipping the fresh tofu in the soy sauce — it was even better that way haha. Mom and Dad said they liked having the stir-fried pork as a side. I love it when pork gomtang broth is milky like this... and the meat was sliced so thin it was tender enough to eat in one bite with the soup and rice — so soft haha. You can't have soup and rice without white rice, right — heart. It came topped with various vegetables and even a soft-boiled egg! My mom took one look and said, 'This is presented really nicely' haha. A good bibim dish really shines when it's mixed well lol. Shake shake ~ somehow it always tastes better when Mom mixes it lol.
