While searching for a good dwaeji gukbap spot near Busan Station, I found this place also served milmyeon, so I ordered it too. Mul milmyeon is a refreshing dish, so it paired well with the dwaeji gukbap. The noodles definitely had a different texture from naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles). They were chewy with that distinct milmyeon bite, and I enjoyed it a lot. The broth had a tangy-sweet flavor that was refreshing to eat. The mix of tartness and sweetness really woke up the appetite, and switching back and forth between this and the dwaeji gukbap worked well as a combo. If you like the chewy texture unique to milmyeon and a tangy-sweet broth, you'll enjoy this one. ## Dwaeji gukbap: broth and how much pork you get The dwaeji gukbap at Yeongdong Milmyeon & Dwaeji Gukbap is ₩10,000. I felt like I had to order the gukbap while I was there. It was one of the dishes I was most looking forward to while searching for a good dwaeji gukbap spot near Busan Station, and the broth was clean with no gamy smell from the meat, so it was easy to enjoy without any hesitation. I wanted to try the soup, but I also wanted to taste the suyuk (boiled pork), so this was a perfect order for us since we wanted to sample a bit of everything. Suyuk baekban lets you enjoy pork in a completely different way from the gukbap. The suyuk looked like it was from the belly area — the lean meat was tender and the skin was chewy, and the texture was insane *_* It made me want to come back for suyuk with a shot of soju.
