Along with the basic side dishes, you can also help yourself to a variety of extra dishes at the self-serve bar! The flesh also came off the bone more easily than I expected. The grilled atkarine had plumper flesh than I expected, which was nice. Grilled fish can easily end up too dry or too salty, but here the outside was crispy while the inside stayed moist, making it great to eat with rice. We visited on a weekday evening, and by the time we left it was almost fully booked—so I guess there really is a reason popular places are popular. That's Jeju Badang, the Korean restaurant in Gyeongdong, Cheongju! The grilled and stewed fish were genuinely delicious, and with the self-serve side dishes on top, there was nothing lacking.
