After your meal, just tell them your license plate number and they'll give you a whopping 3 hours of free parking!!! Isn't that generous?! With that much parking time, it's especially great for company dinners or group gatherings!!

There's a CCTV screen above the entrance to the play room, so parents can sit and eat their meal while checking in real time that their kids are playing well, so you can eat in complete peace~

## Side dishes served and how to reserve a table

The basic side dishes come out generously — green onion salad, pickled onion, kimchi, pickled peppers, bean sprout namul, lettuce wraps, and even a doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) bubbling away on the grill~ Since I reserved ahead, everything was neatly set at my table when I arrived~!

Even without a reservation they're fast enough to set things up quickly, but if you're meeting a group or have plans, I'd strongly recommend booking ahead!

Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Daejeon Dungok branch's beef combo platter comes packed with solid cuts — jin galbisal, galbisal, bone galbi, bucheotsal, and woo samgyeop, totaling 600g! Before I came to the Dungok branch, I searched for reviews and found almost none for the 'beef combo' menu?! So I ate my way through it properly and I'm leaving a real review here haha

Having tried it myself, not a single cut was a throwaway — everything melted in my mouth, ㅠㅠㅠ I was so satisfied with this combo that lets you enjoy a variety of cuts at once!!

### Woo samgyeop and jin galbi on the grill

Today was a day I craved something fatty, so I put the woo samgyeop (beef belly) on the grill first! When you're so hungry you're dizzy, woo samgyeop cooks up quick and easy, which is just great haha. Maybe it was because I was really craving meat today, but it was way more savory and delicious than usual?! A total win from the very first bite!!

Jin galbi is a really tender cut! 'Melts in your mouth' is exactly the phrase for it! It disappears in one bite so I cut it smaller to savor it more haha. Can you tell how good it was?!

### The best cut: beef galbisal with green onion salad

Still, my absolute favorite cut is so-galbitsal (beef short rib meat)! It has this plump, chewy texture, and the more you chew, the more savory juices spread out — truly a work of art~~ Especially paired with Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang's signature umami-packed green onion salad, the combo is just insane?! Put a piece of so-galbitsal on top of that spicy green onion salad and pop it in your mouth — pure heaven of flavor!

### Bucheotsal paired with pickled chili peppers

Bucheotsal (flat iron) has a strong, rich meaty aroma, so it goes perfectly with the salty pickled peppers!! Finding the best side dish pairing for each cut as you eat was a fun bonus~~

## Ordering extra pork skin, the "castella skin"

Today I specially added an order of 'pork skin'!! It's actually called castella skin! It's scored with very fine cuts~~~ Grilled golden brown and crispy, then coated generously with savory bean powder and dipped in a spicy sauce, it's sweet and crunchy — honestly like eating dessert, and so delicious!!ㅋㅋㅋㅋ A perfect way to finish the meal!

## Doenjang jjigae on its own burner, with a refill

And the cheat code that gets me every time I come here — this doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) that sits bubbling on its own burner the whole meal~ Not only does it stay warm the entire time you're eating meat, but if you ask the staff, they'll generously refill both the solids and the broth, so you can finish it all off to the very last drop!!
