Ppajak Financier Bar has become one of Jeonju's go-to dessert spots — a stop on the Jeonju bakery pilgrimage. It's packed with financiers and all kinds of baked goods: salt bread, egg tart, two-tone chewy cookies, tteok (rice cakes), candied sweet potato, pistachio, Udo peanut choco, salty choco, super sweet corn, vanilla bean, salted caramel, salt bread, egg tart, and more.

This is a savory, delicious Jeonju dessert favorite, and the chewy texture on top pairs really well with coffee. Bite in and you get a proper 'ppajak' crunch — buttery aroma plus chewiness that work together beautifully.

And the tastiest of all was the honey sweet potato financier! Chewy sweet potato flavor with a completely moist, crunchy interior — really charming. It's such a refined, pretty dessert that your hand just keeps reaching for it.

A place that's good for financiers no matter when you come — a pretty café stop on the Jeonju bakery pilgrimage. The shop is filled with the smell of delicious desserts, the taste is great, and the value for money is top-notch. Good for a gift-giving errand too, with configurations ready to go, and it also works well as a Jeonju date café.

## Hermès-style gift sets and tips before you visit

Ppajak Financier Bar can put together gift sets of signature financiers in Hermès-style bags. Stickers, delivery, and consultation/reservation for financier sets are all available. Note that they close early once the desserts sell out, and that they're closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

They also have table seating, and I've been back here a number of times — it's one of my regular spots. The financier flavors are varied and distinctive enough that I keep wanting to come back — a Jeonju gift set dessert financier spot, Ppajak Financier. The coffee and drink menu is varied too, so I'd definitely visit Ppajak Financier Bar again.
