## In short

Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a Jeju-style hangover soup restaurant in Ingye-dong, Suwon, about 168m from Exit 8 of Suwon City Hall Station. Ordering the 13,000 won dombe pork (sliced boiled Jeju pork), 16,000 won yangmuchim (spicy tripe salad) and 12,000 won haejangguk with blood cubes together, the thick-cut yet melt-in-the-mouth dombe pork was the most memorable part, and the tangy-sweet salad paired well with the fiery broth. With parking right in front, Jeju Eunhuine is worth remembering when you are driving to Ingye-dong for a meal.

There's one thing that's always a bit of a worry when eating in Ingye-dong: parking. Even when you find a great restaurant, you often end up stressing about where to leave the car. This time, at Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch, I could park right in front of the store, which made things easy from the start. But honestly, the food left an even bigger impression than the parking.

> The Jeju-style dombe pork was so tender in my mouth, and the yangmuchim was tangy, sweet, and spicy all at once — it really woke up my appetite.

On top of that, there was hot blood-cube haejangguk (hangover soup). One spoonful of that spicy yet refreshing broth and I got it — I finally understood why people come here for haejangguk. I ordered the meat, the yangmuchim, and the haejangguk together, and the combination of the three worked really well.

## Where is Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch?

The place I visited is Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch. The address is 28 Hyowon-ro 265beon-gil, 1st floor, Unit 102, Paldal-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It's fairly close to Suwon City Hall Station, making it a convenient spot for lunch or dinner in Ingye-dong.

At the entrance there's a dol hareubang (stone grandfather statue) reminiscent of Jeju, plus a big 'Hello! JEJU' sign, so it feels a bit different from a typical haejangguk restaurant. The front of the store is open and easy to spot even on a first visit. Recently released store info also lists it as about 168m from Exit 8 of Suwon City Hall Station. What I liked most on my visit, though, was the parking.

## Is parking easy in Ingye-dong?

When you're hunting for a restaurant in Ingye-dong, parking can end up being a bigger headache than the food itself. But at Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch, there's parking space right in front of the store, which made things quite convenient for me. As you can see in the photos, there's a space to park right in front of the restaurant.

Recently confirmed store info also states that, besides the space out front, the building's basement parking lot is available too. If you're driving around Ingye-dong looking for a place to eat, this felt like a real advantage. No trekking from a far-off parking spot — that makes it easier for family meals or meeting up with a group.

## What are the interior and seating like at Jeju Eunhuine?

Inside, the tables were spaced comfortably and the whole place felt clean. A serving robot was moving around during my visit. Ordering was simple too.

When you hear 'haejangguk,' you might picture an old-school soup joint, but this place had a relatively bright, tidy atmosphere. There were tables big enough for groups, making it comfortable to eat with company, and it didn't seem like a stretch to come alone for a bowl of hot soup either. Recently confirmed usage info lists seating from single seats up to tables for six, plus baby chairs.

## Dombe pork, tripe salad and blood-cube haejangguk: the full table

What I ate that day was dombe pork, yangmuchim, and haejangguk with blood cubes. Once it was all laid on the table, the colors contrasted clearly. Next to the plain-looking dombe pork sat yangmuchim coated in bright red sauce, and next to that, the hot haejangguk was bubbling away.

![Dombe pork, yangmuchim, and blood-cube haejangguk served together on one table](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeju-eunhee-haejangguk-suwon-ingye-dombae/jeju-eunhee-haejangguk-suwon-ingye-dombae-10-1j3fu-1200.webp)

With ssam vegetables, garlic, and peppers added in too, it felt less like a single meal and more like a proper spread. Ordering all three together turned out to be a great call. Each dish had a distinctly different flavor, so alternating between them meant my palate never got bored.

## How tender is the Jeju-style dombe pork?

The first thing I reached for, of course, was the dombe pork. In the photos you can see the cut is fairly thick, with layers of fat and lean meat that looked like it would have a chewy bite.

But taking a bite, it wasn't what I expected at all. It was truly tender. Instead of stiff or dry, the first thing I noticed was how softly it chewed, and the fatty parts added a nutty richness. This was the first thought that ran through my head as I ate:

> This Jeju pork is insane.

I'm not exaggerating for effect — that was genuinely my first impression that day.

![Plate of thick-cut Jeju-style dombe pork](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeju-eunhee-haejangguk-suwon-ingye-dombae/jeju-eunhee-haejangguk-suwon-ingye-dombae-12-1t6rj-900.webp)

The dombe pork was great on its own, but wrapping it in ssam vegetables gave it a whole different flavor. Add a piece of garlic or pepper on top and the clean flavor gains a sharp kick. A bit of yangmuchim on the side worked well too. Based on recently released menu info, a small order of dombe pork is confirmed at ₩13,000. Prices and menu composition can vary by store circumstances, so checking the menu on the day of your visit is the most accurate way to confirm.

## Is the yangmuchim tripe salad very spicy?

When I ate the yangmuchim at Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch, it wasn't just heavy on spice — a tangy-sweet flavor came through alongside it. Honestly, this was the dish my chopsticks kept returning to more than I expected. Just from the photo you can see the vivid red sauce coating it. I thought it would be quite spicy at first, but the crunch of the vegetables and tripe mixed with the sauce really woke up my appetite.

It was especially good after a few bites of dombe pork. The tangy-sweet sauce of the yangmuchim seemed to reset the richness of the meat each time.

![Tangy-sweet yangmuchim coated in red sauce](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeju-eunhee-haejangguk-suwon-ingye-dombae/jeju-eunhee-haejangguk-suwon-ingye-dombae-13-1vzzu-900.webp)

![Close-up of crunchy vegetables and tripe mixed in yangmuchim](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeju-eunhee-haejangguk-suwon-ingye-dombae/jeju-eunhee-haejangguk-suwon-ingye-dombae-14-biwwj-900.webp)

After eating a good bit of yangmuchim and going back to the dombe pork, the meat's clean flavor stood out even more. So if you're visiting with one other person, adding a side dish to share rather than each ordering just haejangguk seems like a good idea. Currently, yangmuchim is listed at ₩16,000. It works well as a solo meal, but with this kind of spread it also seems well suited to an evening with several people sharing dishes together.

## What does the blood-cube haejangguk taste like?

The steaming haejangguk that arrived looked rich just from the photo. It's loaded with blood cubes, meat, ugeoji (dried napa cabbage leaves), bean sprouts, and glass noodles. I tried the broth first. It's spicy.

But it wasn't just a spicy broth — after eating it, a refreshing feeling followed. Calling a hot soup 'refreshing' might sound strange, but anyone who loves haejangguk will know exactly what I mean. That spicy, piping-hot broth going down your throat and clearing out your system — that's the feeling.

![Bowl of spicy haejangguk with blood cubes](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeju-eunhee-haejangguk-suwon-ingye-dombae/jeju-eunhee-haejangguk-suwon-ingye-dombae-15-nqnbt-900.webp)

![Haejangguk broth showing ugeoji and bean sprouts](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeju-eunhee-haejangguk-suwon-ingye-dombae/jeju-eunhee-haejangguk-suwon-ingye-dombae-16-vn1b7-900.webp)

![Spoonful of ingredients lifted from the haejangguk](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeju-eunhee-haejangguk-suwon-ingye-dombae/jeju-eunhee-haejangguk-suwon-ingye-dombae-17-1v5jo-900.webp)

![Blood-cube haejangguk with glass noodles at Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeju-eunhee-haejangguk-suwon-ingye-dombae/jeju-eunhee-haejangguk-suwon-ingye-dombae-18-18kz6-900.webp)

If you like blood cubes, scooping them up along with the other ingredients was quite satisfying. It's not just blood cubes and broth — ugeoji, bean sprouts, and glass noodles all come along with each spoonful. After a bite of dombe pork and a bite of yangmuchim, a sip of hot haejangguk broth made for a really good combination.

The currently confirmed price for the signature haejangguk is ₩12,000. Recent store usage info also confirms that you can choose whether or not to include blood cubes and chili paste when ordering. Even people who aren't fans of blood cubes can make that choice before ordering, which is worth keeping in mind.

## Come for the hangover soup, stay for the dombe pork

Usually when you see the name Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk, hangover soup is the first thing that comes to mind. I was the same. But after actually eating here, the dombe pork's presence was surprisingly strong. A tender bite of pork, then a bit of tangy-sweet yangmuchim, then a spoonful of spicy haejangguk broth — eating in that order, the three dishes felt completely different from one another, and I kept reaching for more.

Especially if you're visiting with a group, it seems like a good idea for everyone to order their own haejangguk while sharing dombe pork or yangmuchim in the middle. Recently released info states that ordering one meal per person comes with a free extra bowl of rice — worth checking if you want to eat heartily.

## Who Jeju Eunhuine in Ingye-dong, Suwon suits best

- Anyone who needs a spicy broth the day after drinking — this will be the first haejangguk that comes to mind
- Office workers near Suwon City Hall looking for a hearty lunch
- Drivers looking for parking in Ingye-dong (space available in front of the store and in the building's lot)
- Meat lovers who'd feel shortchanged leaving with just haejangguk — the dombe pork is recommended

Personally, the dish that stuck with me most unexpectedly from this visit was the dombe pork.

## Would I go back to Jeju Eunhuine for more than soup?

Three things stuck with me most after this visit to Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch. First, the parking — being able to park right in front of the store in Ingye-dong was more convenient than I expected. The clean, nutty flavor of the dombe pork, the tangy-sweet yangmuchim, and the spicy, refreshing broth of the blood-cube haejangguk all complemented each other well. A restaurant where one dish is great is nice, but a place where multiple dishes pair well together is even better for a group visit. If you're looking for a good haejangguk spot near Suwon City Hall or Ingye-dong, this one is worth remembering. I think I'll order the dombe pork again next time — that tender melt-in-your-mouth texture is going to stick with me for a while.
