## Hanwoo instant seasoned short ribs — the most incredible dish on the menu

After finishing the special cuts, they cleaned the grill once before cooking the hanwoo instant seasoned short ribs — and honestly, personally, these grilled seasoned ribs were just amazing. The seasoning wasn't too sweet or too strong, so it never masked the savory richness of the hanwoo itself. The mild, gentle seasoning soaked into the meat without any harshness, so I could keep eating without getting tired of it. I was already so full, but I regretted ordering so little of the seasoned ribs ㅠㅠ Among the beef dishes at Namcheon-dong restaurants, I'd say this is easily the best — so satisfying that I'm definitely reordering the seasoned ribs next time!

## Seafood doenjang jjigae — in a stone pot or poured onto the pan?

For dessert we ordered the seafood doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew), and you can request details like whether to have it poured into the cast-iron pan or served separately in a stone pot, spice level, and more (nice). We ordered the small size in regular spice level and asked for it in a stone pot. Apparently people having dinner with drinks often order it poured onto the pan after finishing the meat, almost like a course, turning it into a doenjang rice dish. I was surprised that even the ₩5,000 small stone pot came with a whole plump crab inside.

## Reasons to come back for family gatherings or work dinners

A truly satisfying place to enjoy a proper meal with the people you care about, savoring real hanwoo flavor — I don't think there's a more perfect spot for that. Going somewhere fancy is nice, but honestly eating something genuinely delicious and walking out happy — that's basically prenatal care haha, and I was so happy. They're open for both lunch and dinner, so whether it's a lunch or dinner gathering, quality time with family, or a meal with good people — Yong Hanu works anytime! There's technically a small corkage fee set, but the owner said he's not charging it, so I'll probably be back soon with family for the seasoned ribs and a glass of wine.
