Lush, elaborate plant decorations hung from the ceiling, giving the hall a luxurious feel the moment you walked in. ## How the buffet flows straight from the ceremony One thing I really liked about this Daegu wedding hall buffet was how you could step right out of the outdoor hall and straight into the meal. The layout wasn't complicated at all, which made getting to the food really convenient. The tables were spaced out generously, so we could eat comfortably without feeling cramped. In particular, the fragrant sea squirt bibimbap, sushi with just the right amount of rice, and a variety of rolls made picking and choosing genuinely fun. ### The fresh salad corner The salad corner is always the first stop at a buffet! There was sweet pumpkin and potato salad, a salad topped with crispy chicken, and my personal favorite, caprese salad, set out looking so fresh I had to snap a photo. ## Beef bacon BBQ: the best of the hot dish corner The hot dish corner had Stadium tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties), Hokkaido-style lamb, pork shoulder steak, and grilled mixed vegetables that paired nicely with the beef bacon BBQ, all neatly arranged. Everything was cooked to order over high heat and kept warm, so we kept coming back! Both my husband and I love chicken, so we happily tried one each, and they were so crispy and delicious that we went back for seconds. There were plenty of fried items too — fried beef intestine, fried peppers, fried sweet potato, fried squid, and fried shrimp — a lineup that anyone who loves crispy fried food would love. There was also fluffy shrimp pilaf and spicy grilled galbi. The galbi was cooked just right, giving it a nice tender texture. Our first plate was piled with our favorites! The yukhoe (seasoned raw beef) was well seasoned and exactly my taste, and the pasta was warm and tasty too. The braised galbi jjim especially had zero dryness and was so tender we went back for it twice. The savory shrimp fried rice was satisfying as well. Overall, the food was well managed and not over-seasoned, so we could enjoy the meal happily all the way to the end at this Daegu wedding hall buffet.
