Mixing the rice into the broth, the hot soup soaked in between the grains and made each spoonful easy to eat, and with the blood sausage and meat scooped up together too, I didn't really feel the need to reach for many side dishes. I ate slowly at first because it was hot, but at some point I was just steadily spooning up the broth. And it's a dish that goes really well with having a drink while eating. Warm up your stomach, take a sip, then another spoonful of broth.
