Lapins' signature drink has a name I'd never heard before: Inlyeok Coffee. With a soft, moist chocolate sponge and 100% dairy whipped cream, it had a gentle, natural flavor — not artificial, not sickly sweet, not heavy at all 👍 Cherries studded through the cream added texture and flavor, and the dark chocolate on top was the finishing touch. You'd usually assume a chocolate cake would be super sweet, right?! When I told the owner it tasted delicious because it was cleanly sweet, they said they really value balanced sweetness and combination. The tart's texture, the soft cream, the subtle sweetness of the red bean, and the bitter matcha made for a really appealing combination. Nodding along with the second cake too, again for its clean sweetness haha. The Inlyeok Coffee I'd been so curious about is milk tea mixed with coffee — normally milk tea alone is always too sweet for me and I end up leaving some, but mixing coffee into the milk tea's sweetness made it so much better?? I think this is going to become my hideout spot... If you're like me — loving dessert but finding it too sweet to really enjoy — come here and you can pig out on dessert without worry lol. ## To sum up This place is run by an owner who's truly devoted to cake, and you feel good the moment you walk in. Using 100% dairy whipped cream gives everything a natural softness that's never artificial or heavy, and every menu item has that clean sweetness that never gets cloying, letting you enjoy it deliciously right to the last bite.
