Here's my honest review of Mixed Table, a bar near Sinnonhyeon Station that's great for sipping a cocktail, listening to music, and chatting with friends.

## Mixed Table location, hours, and corkage

Mixed Table is located at 14 Gangnam-daero 122-gil, B1, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, near Sinnonhyeon Station. It's open Monday to Saturday, 18:00–02:00, and closed on Sundays.

For parking, you can use the nearby Nonhyeon Elementary School public parking lot.

There's a variety of seating — group tables, bar tables, single seats. Full venue rental is available for groups of 30 or more; for under 30, you can rent part of the hall or the seats inside the glass wall — useful to know if you're planning a group outing.

One drink per person is required (including non-alcoholic menu items). Corkage is allowed, but not for drinks sold in-store. It's ₩30,000 per bottle of wine and ₩60,000 per bottle of whisky, with no limit on the number of bottles, and they said there's a discount if you bring 2 or more bottles.

The bar is on the basement level, and the stairs going down are lined with atmospheric posters.

## What's the inside atmosphere like?

Here's the inside of Mixed Table. Each seat has a small candle lit, and the overall vibe is dark, but the bar table area uses just the right amount of lighting so it's not hard to talk. I actually liked that it wasn't too bright.

The seating is roughly split into spots inside the glass tube and seats outside it. I sat outside the glass tube. As soon as you walk in, there's video playing from a beam projector, which adds a lot of atmosphere.

## Menu lineup

Being a proper bar, they have a wide range of highballs, cocktails, whiskies, wines, champagnes, and non-alcoholic cocktails. The signature cocktails seemed to be menu items unique to Mixed Table that I hadn't seen anywhere else. Next to each menu name, they list which liquor and ingredients are used, which helped me choose.

There are filling snacks like chicken tenders and pizza, as well as lighter fruit-based bites. The signature dishes are the ones using kaymak (a thick clotted cream). Kaymak isn't something you come across often, and pairing it with a cocktail was a great combo that also gave a nice amount of fullness. (I visited after dinner.)

## How does the signature Cinnamon Pepper cocktail taste?

Mixed Table's Cinnamon Pepper is ₩15,000, a Dr Pepper highball with cinnamon whisky liqueur mixed in perfectly. This time, instead of the Godfather, I wanted to try one of the signature cocktails, so I ordered the Cinnamon Pepper.

With "pepper" in the name, you might expect actual black pepper, but it's actually cinnamon whisky liqueur combined with Dr Pepper, giving it an appealing spiciness. On the first sip, the scent of cinnamon stick and a sharp, intense cinnamon aroma spreads out, followed by Dr Pepper's signature cherry and vanilla flavor wrapping it in sweetness. It was surprising how clearly the cherry and vanilla notes came through.

Whenever a cocktail has a description on the menu, I find it fun to hunt for those exact flavors as I drink. The sweetness and spiciness blend together in an intriguing way — I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys Dr Pepper or cinnamon-based drinks! As a huge Godfather fan myself, I really enjoyed this one.

My friend ordered the Akdeniz, a blue, sweet cocktail that reminded me of Milkis and went down easy. Since the liquor scent isn't strong, it seemed like a cocktail that would suit most tastes.

Kaymak & Melon is ₩19,000. It's a dessert-style side dish of sweet, juicy melon topped with nutty kaymak and honey.

True to its name, it's not a fussy dish — it lets the natural flavors of the ingredients shine. It was a nice light snack to have with drinks when I came for a second round after dinner. It has a different charm from the usual salty jamón melon pairing, offering a rich, luxurious sweetness alongside the deep flavor of the cream at the same time. It also tasted great with the salty pretzels that come as a basic side, so I'd recommend that combo.

## Final thoughts

I enjoyed being able to try not just the usual cocktails I normally drink, but also a range of original cocktails reflecting Mixed Table's own ideas. If you're looking for a Sinnonhyeon-area bar with great atmosphere for enjoying drinks while listening to music, I'd recommend a visit to Mixed Table!
