All the bread was covered under glass, which felt hygienic. Pound cakes, finassiers, egg tarts, tigrés, scones — all the classics are there. I personally love matcha cream, but I'm often disappointed because so few cafés let you actually taste it. This one had thick, luscious matcha cream with a pleasant bitterness that wasn't too sweet. The peach isn't just on top — it's also mixed into the cheesecake itself, so you get that peach tartness with every bite. I liked that the cheese on top had a different texture from the cheese inside the cake. Instead of feeling soggy, the cheese tasted fresh, which made it delicious. The base tasted like Lotus biscuit. I think this is the best peach cake I've had so far — it wasn't a sponge base, and the cream cheese was genuinely fresh. They gave us a knife to cut them, which was nice. The lemon Earl Grey finassier had a firm, well-baked Earl Grey base coated with a layer of lemon cream. The tanginess of the lemon paired well with the Earl Grey aroma. Since fig season is here, and the fig cream cheese finassier is my favorite, I ordered it with high expectations. It was packed with fig jam inside, so it didn't cut into a neat slice, but the filling was generous and delicious. ## Final thoughts Not just the drinks but the cakes and baked goods were all consistently good quality, and there was so much variety that I really enjoyed everything. Beyond the great cake and bakery items, the space is big with plenty of different seating, so it's also a good spot for photos and hanging out.
