Miraehoegwan Hannam had a pretty nice atmosphere too. Given Hannam-dong's neighborhood vibe, it's a good spot for eating with friends or going on a date, and also works when you want to enjoy meat with some ambiance. Buying good meat and grilling it at home yourself is nice too, but honestly, whoever's grilling ends up the busiest person at the table. Constantly flipping, watching for burning, and checking on everyone else's plates too, haha. The pork belly especially was really delicious. Pork belly is such a common menu item that you might think it's all pretty similar, but good meat cooked properly really does make the difference. Miraehoegwan says they use top 1% domestic Korean beef and pork, dry-aged, and you could definitely taste the difference in flavor. I also liked that all the meat here is grilled by staff who've had grilling training. The outside was seared golden with a slight crispiness, while the inside stayed soft and juicy — great texture. It had that signature pork belly fattiness without being too greasy, so I kept reaching for more. I like dipping pork belly lightly in salt to taste the meat on its own first, and here it was delicious that way too, as well as with the side dishes. Tender meat, good juiciness, rich savory flavor — the kind of taste that stays with you. On top of that, getting a free ₩8,000 bibim guksu through the review event made the value feel even better. Eating out in Hannam-dong these days isn't cheap, so being able to enjoy premium meat while also getting solid extras made for a genuinely satisfying meal.
