## In short

Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station is a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant on the 2nd floor of a building on Seolleung-ro 86-gil, near Seolleung Station in Gangnam, Seoul, with a flat ₩1,990 per plate. Along with picking flounder, salmon, egg sushi and fusion rolls like yukhoe (seasoned raw beef) sushi and salmon yukhoe tataki rolls off the belt, this visit included asking staff directly for two plates each of flounder and salmon, made fresh on the spot. Given the price, the sushi quality was satisfying, making it a good pick to know about when hunting for budget-friendly sushi near Daechi-dong or Seolleung Station.

Looking for a place to eat lunch near Daechi-dong or Seolleung Station, there are actually more options than you'd think, but the prices can get surprisingly steep. These days even a few plates of sushi can easily run past ₩20,000-30,000, so what starts as a light meal can end up costing way more than expected.

This time I visited Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station, which is supposed to be a good value option for sushi near Seolleung Station.

The price wasn't intimidating at all, and since it's conveyor-belt sushi, I liked being able to pick out exactly what I wanted to eat.

## Sushi Ian N's location near Seolleung Station

![Entrance to Sushi Ian N on the 2nd floor of a Seolleung-ro 86-gil building](https://img.superchart.com/images/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi-03-1aqd6-900.webp)

Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station is located on the 2nd floor of 10 Seolleung-ro 86-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It's a manageable distance from Daechi-dong too, so it's worth knowing about whether you're looking for good food in Daechi-dong or near Seolleung Station.

### Inside the restaurant

It wasn't far from Seolleung Station and was easy to find, and since there are a lot of office workers around the area, it was fairly busy even at lunchtime.

That said, there's a break time on weekdays from 3pm to 5pm, though no break time on weekends, so it's worth checking the hours before you head over.

## Sushi at a flat ₩1,990 per plate

What caught my eye most at Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station was, of course, the price. At most conveyor-belt sushi places, the plate colors mean different prices, and you end up quietly wondering, 'wait, how much is this one?' while you eat.

![Sushi plates on the conveyor belt](https://img.superchart.com/images/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi-07-14uc0-900.webp)

Here, though, it's a flat ₩1,990 per plate across the board, which made totaling things up way easier.

Whenever a sushi I wanted passed by, I'd just grab it, so there was way less pressure around choosing. It seems like a really good format for anyone who wants to try a little bit of a lot of different things.

### Kids' service: fries & ketchup

![Free kids' fries and ketchup service](https://img.superchart.com/images/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi-09-1yhj4-m-900.webp)
*Kids' service: fries & ketchup*

They also offer a free side of fries and ketchup for kids, which makes this a solid recommendation for a Daechi-dong sushi spot to visit with children, no?

## Sushi keeps circling on the belt

Once I sat down, sushi kept passing right in front of me, and the variety was bigger than expected, so just watching it go by was fun in itself. There are the basics like flounder and salmon, plus crowd-pleasers like shrimp and egg sushi.

There's karaage (Japanese fried chicken) and fried shrimp too, and fruit comes around as well, perfect for dessert :)

Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station basically has such a wide menu that if you like plain fish sushi and your friend likes sushi loaded with sauce, you can both go together and pick according to your own taste.

![Fusion sushi topped with sauce](https://img.superchart.com/images/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi-14-4obvc-900.webp)

![Yukhoe sushi and flying fish roe gunkan plates](https://img.superchart.com/images/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi-15-83ovr-900.webp)

I personally prefer something a little flashier with more sauce over plain sushi, so I loved that there were heartier options too, like yukhoe (seasoned raw beef) sushi, yukhoe rolls, salmon yukhoe tataki rolls, and flying fish roe gunkan!

## You can request any sushi you want right away

With conveyor-belt sushi, sometimes the one dish you actually want just never comes around. When that happens, you don't have to keep waiting on the belt — just tell a staff member what you want. I had a favorite menu item, so I asked directly, and it was so convenient that they made it right away.

![Flounder and salmon sushi made to order upon request](https://img.superchart.com/images/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi-16-1cbo7-900.webp)

Since I love flounder and salmon, I asked for two plates of each, and they brought them all out neatly arranged at once. Picking sushi off the belt is convenient, but being able to eat freshly made sushi right away was a great perk too.

## Fresher than expected — very satisfying

![Freshly made fish sushi plate](https://img.superchart.com/images/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi-17-1cum2-900.webp)

Honestly, seeing the ₩1,990-per-plate price, I didn't expect much from the quality at first. But once I actually tried it, it was better than I thought. Customers kept coming in and the sushi turned over quickly, so it didn't feel like anything had been sitting on the belt too long.

![Close-up of salmon sushi](https://img.superchart.com/images/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi-18-1g8ba-900.webp)

The flounder and salmon in particular, my favorites, were plenty satisfying for the price. When you're hunting for a cheap conveyor-belt sushi spot, it's always a bit of a gamble if the low price comes with disappointing quality — but here, being able to pick a wide variety without worrying about cost while still getting fresh sushi was a real plus.

## From solo lunches to office worker lunches

![Rail seating good for solo dining](https://img.superchart.com/images/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi-19-1qo7w-900.webp)

Looking around the restaurant, there were people eating alone too. Conveyor-belt sushi lets you eat as much as you want and finish up quickly, so it seems like a pretty good fit for solo dining.

![Multiple sushi plates during lunchtime](https://img.superchart.com/images/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi-20-fvtcx-900.webp)

Especially for office workers around Seolleung Station, it seems like a great way to have a filling lunch without anything too heavy, picking whatever sushi you're craving. And if you go with a group, everyone can pick their own favorites, which is convenient too.

## Looking for budget-friendly sushi near Daechi-dong?

![Assorted sushi plates picked out](https://img.superchart.com/images/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi-21-1gxfq-900.webp)

Thanks to the flat ₩1,990-per-plate price, it was easy to pick and try a lot of different things :)

![Stack of empty sushi plates](https://img.superchart.com/images/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi/sushi-ian-and-seolleung-conveyor-sushi-22-henp9-900.webp)

From the basics like flounder and salmon to fusion options like yukhoe, garlic, and mayo-based sushi, there were plenty of choices, which made picking according to my taste fun. And best of all, if what I wanted wasn't on the belt, I could just ask and get it made fresh right away.

If you're looking for low-pressure, budget-friendly sushi near Daechi-dong or Seolleung Station, Sushi Ian N Seolleung Station is worth a visit. If you love salmon and flounder like I do, you might end up with quite a stack of plates before you know it, haha.
