The place I visited was Onyu Lash (온유래쉬), a lash-care space located inside a nail shop. At first, I planned to get both a keratin lash lift and a lower lash perm, but after a consultation, I went ahead with just the keratin lift based on the condition of my lashes. There was also separate Onyu Lash signage outside, so it was easy to confirm the location. The board at the entrance listed lash lift and nourishment options, and at the time of my visit, a lift plus nourishment was marked ₩30,000. Rather than dedicated shop parking, I used public parking. Parking was actually the part that confused me a little on my first visit. When I heard “public parking,” I thought there would be a separate parking lot, but it was actually public street parking along the road. At first I wondered where I was supposed to leave the car, then spotted the street markings for public parking and parked in an open space. It took about five minutes to walk from there to the shop. Still, public parking was free for up to 1 hour 30 minutes, which was quite convenient. The lash treatment area was separated toward the back and had the facilities needed for treatment, including a bed and lighting. There was a treatment bed inside, along with lighting and the necessary supplies. ## Why I chose only a keratin lash lift instead of a lower lash perm What I received this time was a keratin lash lift. Before visiting, I had planned to try a lower lash perm along with it. But during the consultation, they checked my lashes directly and explained that my lower lashes were on the short side, so a lower lash perm could strain my eyes and probably would not have much effect. Rather than automatically doing several treatments, I decided to skip the lower lash perm and get only the keratin lift for my lash condition. I actually liked this part. Instead of going through with every treatment I had originally planned, I could look at the current condition of my lashes and choose only what I needed. During the keratin lift, my eyes barely felt uncomfortable or bothered, either. I was so comfortable that I fell asleep without realizing it; after a short rest, I opened my eyes and the treatment was almost finished, haha. Rather than looking sharply bent, the result let the natural length of my lashes show through, which suited the look I wanted. What I realized while getting this Dongtan lash lift was that getting multiple treatments together does not necessarily make you more satisfied. What I liked most was the naturally lifted curl. My lashes lifted neatly without looking overly bent, making my eyes look more defined, and I loved the result. At first I was considering both a keratin lift and a lower lash perm, but I also appreciated that they checked my lashes, explained that my short lower lashes could be strained, and performed only the keratin lift. My eyes were so comfortable during the treatment that I fell asleep without realizing it. The one downside is that there is no dedicated parking, so you need to use public parking. I was a little confused at first because it was street parking, but it was free for up to 1 hour 30 minutes and only about a five-minute walk from the shop, so it was not too inconvenient. I would recommend it to anyone wanting natural lash care in Dongtan or a lash lift that is not overdone. I liked the result enough that I plan to return when I need another lift.
