I was looking for a Jamsil burger with a thick patty and generous fillings, and that's how I found Daily Fix. This time we ordered the truffle mushroom burger, the bacon cheeseburger, eggplant fries, and french fries! The one I was most excited about was the truffle mushroom burger. I like truffle dishes in general, so the name alone was already right up my alley, and once I actually tried it, the truffle aroma really came through. Daily Fix's truffle mushroom burger has a 100% Korean beef patty with truffle mayo sauce and a truffle mushroom filling, giving it a nutty, savory flavor I really loved. On the first bite, the beefy flavor of the patty hits first, then the truffle aroma rises up afterward. With the mushrooms in there too, the texture wasn't one-note and had a subtle nuttiness. Turns out this is that famous burger recommended by Kang Min-kyung 👀 It's known as the menu item Davichi's Kang Min-kyung raved about on YouTube, so I was curious too. The bacon cheeseburger also had a 100% Korean beef patty, with plump handmade bacon packed in. First off, the bacon wasn't the thin kind you usually see at regular burger places — it was pleasantly thick. The patty had real thickness too, so with one bite you definitely got that meaty feeling. And with the cheese added on top, it just proved that this combo can't really fail haha. Personally, the truffle mushroom burger was tasty too, but if I had to pick just one, I'd go with the bacon cheeseburger. Honestly, I wondered how many people order eggplant fries when they're out for burgers haha, but we were curious so we tried it. It was better than expected. The eggplant was fried thick, so the outside was crispy while the inside stayed moist. Eggplant on its own can be a bit divisive because of its slightly mushy texture, but fried like this it felt way more approachable. Especially dipped in the accompanying sauce, it was a totally different flavor, and I kept reaching for more. The celery-based green mayo sauce was the highlight — refreshing rather than greasy. Eating a bite of eggplant fries between bites of burger seemed to cut the richness a bit, so it worked well as a side. And of course we also ordered french fries, since no burger meal is complete without them 🍟 Fries really are a must with burgers. They came out crispy and paired well with the burgers, and with two of us sharing one burger each plus the sides, the portion felt pretty filling. ## If you're going with two people, order it this way If you like truffle, go for the truffle mushroom burger; if you like the meat-and-cheese combo, go for the bacon cheeseburger — splitting the two seems like the perfect plan! If you're near Jamsil Station and want something a little different from your usual go-to, or if you're looking for a good spot in Jangmi Sangga, Daily Fix seems worth a visit.
