What better than protein after a workout~? The moment we walked in, it looked clean and private! Down the hallway there are these room-style doors! One area wasn't exactly a separate room, but a spacious place to eat! Looks like groups of 4 or fewer usually get seated here! Some of the rooms are just like this — nicely private. The Ihwajeong set looked good for family gatherings! But since it was just the two of us today, we decided on 3 servings (??haha) of marinated pork ribs + mul naengmyeon! This is the amount for 2 servings, but it filled the grill right up! Grilling pork ribs isn't easy, but this place clearly has its own technique down. They put the meat on the plate, then grill it again! And the Ihwajeong staff are honestly grill masters..!! The sweet marinated ribs were perfectly balanced by the tangy, refreshing kick of the geotjeori, so I just kept going back for more. Maybe because we'd just worked out, something cold really hit the spot. The portion was pretty generous too, perfect for sharing with Dabok! That's how tender and juicy the meat was — I finally had properly delicious pork ribs after a while! With the private rooms, it also seems great for gatherings, family dinners, or company get-togethers!
