Gangdong tonkatsu restaurant with loin and tenderloin: Tonka
Tonka is a Japanese-style tonkatsu restaurant in Gangdong, Seoul, a 5-minute walk from Amsa Station. I tried the 15,000-won loin-and-tenderloin tonkatsu and the limited 18,000-won special loin cutlet, along with its intensely shiitake-scented soup. Verdict: Tonka is a satisfying stop for carefully fried, tender cutlets.
