The product came in a black container. There was a small spoon inside the lid, so I could scoop out the amount I needed. It looked firm at first, but it scooped up softly. I removed the clear inner case after twisting off the lid.

I spread it evenly over my dry face, then rinsed it off with lukewarm water. On areas where blackheads or pores concerned me, I applied it while massaging in circular motions with my fingers. The instructions said to add a little water to emulsify it before massaging areas with heavy makeup.
