My face tends to feel tight after cleansing, and I often notice flakiness around my chin. If I do not use a mist or toner pad right away, my skin feels dry, so I pay attention not only to cleansing power but also to how my skin feels afterward.

I used this product together with cleansing foam. When I first opened it, its deep black color, from Jirisan charcoal, stood out. The all-black packaging also felt neat, as did the spatula that can be stored in the groove on top of the lid.

## Was the texture easy to emulsify?

When I scooped some onto the back of my hand, it was a soft balm that melted gently with body heat. It was not overly slippery or thick and heavy, so it was comfortable to massage while rolling it over my skin.

Because it was black, it was easy to see where I had applied it on my face. When I added a little water to my hands, it turned white and emulsified. After it changed to a lotion-like texture, I gently massaged again around my nose, cheeks, and T-zone.

## How did it finish after removing makeup?

I tried it with waterproof mascara, eyeliner, and a staining tint, and they came off relatively cleanly. Even when I used it around my eyes, I did not feel stinging or irritation.

After rinsing with water, there was little slippery residue, and my skin felt less dry than usual even after I patted off the water with a towel. I have sensitive, dehydrated combination skin that can break out when products do not suit me, but I did not experience redness or itchiness while using it. The scent also did not feel strongly like artificial fragrance.
