It caught my eye even before I walked in, and it's a Blue Ribbon-listed burger place in Gangnam too.

## What are the interior and seating like at Wit N Meat Gangnam?

Wit N Meat Gangnam has a fully American-style interior, like you've traveled to the US, and the tables are spaced generously, so it works for group meetups, dates and eating solo. Inside, the wood-toned walls, red lighting and checkerboard floor made me feel cheerful and excited before I even touched a burger. The tables aren't crammed together, so it's perfect for chatting with your companions, and I think it would be great for a get-together with friends or a Gangnam date.

By the window there's also a bar table with orange chairs next to the glass blocks, so it seemed comfortable for eating alone in Gangnam too.

If you go further in, there's a separate area. Even if the place looks full from outside, there's a good chance of finding a seat inside, so I'd recommend checking.

We chose the Almighty Burger, Wit N Meat's signature, and the Pastrami Queens, which is made with rye bread instead of a bun, both as sets. The set comes with French fries and one soft drink, so it makes a filling meal.

The kitchen is open, so you can watch the buns and patties being grilled on the griddle as soon as you order. It's fun to watch, and seeing the food made hygienically right in front of you gave me confidence.

Our order came out with a cute little Wit N Meat flag stuck in the bun! And at a glance, the fillings looked fresh and packed full, a generous-looking burger.

The Almighty Burger is layered with a house-made brioche bun, a 100% beef patty, bacon, tomato, lettuce, American cheese, red onion, relish pickle and WNM sauce.

What really made it feel like a proper handmade burger place was the patty. The savory beef flavor was incredibly rich, and juices burst out with every bite. The sauce was neither too much nor too little, so the meat aroma wasn't buried. And wearing the plastic gloves from the self-serve bar, I could hold it in my hands without the bun and fillings sliding around, which made eating really comfortable.

Unlike a soft bun, the rye bread is toasted crisp on the outside, so it tastes nuttier the more you chew and the texture is really good. The sweet onion jam gently balances the salty, smoky pastrami, and the basil-scented pickle finishes it off freshly, so it was an addictive taste that kept me wanting more.

The French fries included in the Wit N Meat set were not thin but really plump, fried crisp outside and fluffy inside. The potatoes are seasoned already, so they're tasty and salty even without dipping, and they were great dipped in the ketchup and mustard I pumped from the self-serve bar too.

## What to do after eating at Wit N Meat Gangnam

At Wit N Meat Gangnam, when you finish, you return the whole tray to the station marked 'Return'.

And one of the best things about Wit N Meat, this Gangnam burger spot, was the sink inside the restaurant. Handmade burgers taste best held in your hands, but even with plastic gloves, your hands can feel icky afterward, right? There's a restroom in the restaurant, but going all the way there is a bit of a hassle. Right next to the self-serve bar there's a handwashing area, so I could wash my hands, feel fresh and leave, which I was really happy about.
