Arriving at 4:30pm, after the first batch had sold out, meant about a 10-minute wait for the second batch and four mochi: peach, mango, gold kiwi and fresh chocolate. It's right on the main street of Hwangnidang-gil so it wasn't hard to find. It's about a 3–8 minute walk from either the Hwangnam public parking lot or the Daereungwon public parking lot, so accessibility was pretty good too! Tareudang is a takeout-only shop, so there's no dedicated parking lot. I arrived at 4:30 and waited about 10 minutes. I should've eaten them right after buying, but I ended up wandering around Hwangnidang-gil so much that I didn't open the box until I got home. I figured I'd eat them quickly so I skipped bringing a cooler bag — but I ended up walking around Hwangnidang-gil way longer than expected, haha. I guess I really do love mango, haha. Tasting it, I got why it's so good! The mochi had softened a bit, so I think it would've been even more impressive eaten right when it was fresh. The soft sweetness of the cream combined with the sweetness of the red bean made for a surprisingly great combo — and since the fruit itself is such good quality, it probably would've been delicious paired with any cream. Not the flat, chalky taste of cheap chocolate — more like a smooth, rich, premium chocolate flavor. ## Would I go back to Tareudang? I stumbled onto this mochi while just wandering around Hwangnidang-gil, and it turned out way more satisfying than expected — the fruit was so fresh and the cream pairings were delicious!
