We visited during weekend lunch hours, and there were even groups having gatherings there. We were starving so we thought about ordering that too, but decided to see how much came out first before adding more — and the portion was... wow!!!! ### Starter: beef chili and nachos They quickly brought out warm beef chili and nachos. The beef chili, slow-simmered for 10 hours, was spicy, tangy and warm — so good. It looked like you could even get the beef chili packed separately! Piled generously on crispy nachos? Before we started eating, the staff explained each cut, trimmed everything for us, and even told us good pairings. It looked like this, then this! The sauce next to it is pico de gallo — with onion, jalapeño, tomato, cilantro and more — so refreshing and delicious. I also ate it with tortillas, and it was so tender there was barely anything to chew 🤤 The pulled pork was so tender too. Oh, and the meat sits on a hot stone plate, so you can eat it warm the entire time (I touched the plate with my hand to check). Piled generously on a bun with coleslaw and pickle relish and sauce, one big bite — yum. Tender pulled pork with crunchy coleslaw. The extra tortillas we ordered came out warm too, and 6 pieces at that! Let's finish off the spare ribs. I thought 250g of spare ribs minus bone weight wouldn't be much, but nope — it was a huge amount. Seriously. With grease-drained buffalo wings, cute smiley-face fries, and even thick-cut fries, we — who tend to eat a lot — were completely stuffed with just the two-person platter, no extra orders needed. I think from now on when I want steak near Dongdaegu Station, it'll be Modak Texas Barbecue instead of Outback.
