I think it was around this time last year that I had Ichiran ramen in Japan — the kind of ramen you crave once the wind starts to pick up. I heard Ryusenso in Beomeo-dong was good, so we went to check it out. > Ryusenso brought its brand here after starting as the original shop in Haeundae, Busan, and becoming a nationally known ramen restaurant. Starting as a small shop in Haeundae, Busan, it built word of mouth purely on its rich, deep broth and came to be called the "ramen of a lifetime" among ramen enthusiasts. Ryusenso Beomeo Branch is located toward KBS. Coming from Dalgubeol-daero, enter past the Baskin Robbins. As is typical for restaurants in this neighborhood, there's no dedicated parking space here either. You'll need to use a nearby public parking lot or the alley parking near KBS. Given the location, there were a lot of middle and high schoolers, and when we arrived around 6pm on a weekday, the place was almost completely full of students! This is the Ryusenso ramen. The broth was really rich — the kind of flavor I'll crave more once the weather gets colder. It's a taste that anyone, of any age, would like. This definitely wasn't the kind of ramen you can easily find in Daegu.
