Personally, atmosphere matters when I choose a café, but I care quite a lot about the coffee in the end. The drip coffee I had that day was truly delicious. :) I could really taste its aroma and flavor, yet it was easy to drink without feeling too heavy. It had celery along with the shrimp, so there was a crisp bite, and I loved the fresh aroma that celery has. 🌿 Eating the five in order, they started mild and gradually gained more flavor as I went along. But personally, the shrimp rémoulade was the most memorable. 🦐 Owner!! The young owner served us personally, and rather than simply bringing over the food, he explained the ingredients in every sandwich so well. Some of the items were new to me, so listening to the explanation while eating helped me understand what flavors to look for, and it also made me feel that a great deal of care goes into the food. The service was kind too, so I had a really pleasant time there. ## My Overall Take on Dento, a Bongsan-dong Café in Daegu I liked the quiet, calm café atmosphere, and above all, the drip coffee suited my taste, so I was very satisfied. With the five bite-size open sandwiches too, it would be a nice place to visit when you want café food that feels a little different from usual. If you’re looking for a newly opened café with a quiet atmosphere in Bongsan-dong, or want to enjoy deep drip coffee with delicious sandwiches, stop by Dento!
