You've got to eat the 10-won coin bread, then the Hwangnam bread, then Tartang, and now Tokyo Pie too... This time we went to Tokyo Pie, a dessert spot in Hwangnidan-gil, Gyeongju! This isn't your usual apple pie filled with apple jam — this is where you can taste apple pie with actual whole apples inside. On top of that, they bake on a same-day-made, same-day-sold principle, twice a day at 11:30 and 14:30. So if you time your visit right, you can taste a freshly baked pie still warm, with that nutty, savory scent of real butter 🥰 ## Where is Gyeongju Tokyo Pie? The pastry itself is so good I feel like it'd be tasty even without the apple inside? 🥹✨ Since the pie was this good, now I'm super curious about the red bean and chocolate ones I haven't tried yet... Since it's not overly sweet, it pairs well with coffee and even works as a light breakfast substitute. Most of all, because it's not too sweet and feels a bit upscale, I thought it'd make a great Gyeongju travel gift for parents! Besides the 6-pack, a 9-pack gift set is also available, and the packaging is done nicely, so if you're looking for a slightly different snack gift beyond the usual Hwangnam bread or barley bread in Gyeongju, I'd recommend Gyeongju Tokyo Pie, a dessert spot in Hwangnidan-gil, Gyeongju!
