These days restaurants change so often, so a place staying put for a decade gave me instant trust before I even walked in. Turns out it's run by an owner-chef with 20 years of experience who cooks every dish himself, every day! It's on the 4th floor of the building, and the moment you open the door, a wide-open ocean view unfolds — living up to its name as a Songdo Beach favorite. It really made me gasp. For reference, it's only a 5-minute drive from Yeongildae, and accessibility is excellent — plus you can enjoy the ocean view much more comfortably here than around Yeongildae. Even elders who avoid Western food out of fear it'll be too greasy could enjoy it fully by ordering it spicy. This is a Songdo, Pohang restaurant that's more than fitting for bringing your parents along. We ordered the Plan A chop steak, whole shrimp pilaf, and carbonara for our pasta dish. The Plan A chop steak was genuinely generous for the price, with excellent meat texture! Ordered slightly spicy, it had zero greasiness and just melted in the mouth. The whole shrimp pilaf was packed with plump shrimp for a satisfying bite, and the carbonara — the best of the pastas — had a thick sauce loaded with bacon that the kids polished off in no time. There are lots of cute cafés nearby too, so you can handle dessert right after dinner. If you come as a couple, it'd make a perfect Pohang date restaurant course. And parking is always a worry when you're driving — but you can use the public parking lots in front of and behind the restaurant, plus the community center parking lot, all for free, so we visited without any parking stress at all. ## Verdict: who Plan A Restaurant suits I could really feel why Plan A, a Songdo, Pohang restaurant, has been loved for 10 years!
