It's a melon season cake you can only have in summer!! Summer melon is just so good.. They say the musk melons are even left to ripen after harvest to reach peak sweetness. The fresh cream is soft and the sponge is moist haha. The melon wasn't mushy but in good condition, so it didn't spoil the cake, if that makes sense? The melon, cream and sponge didn't feel like separate things; they blended together smoothly. However much I ate it never got greasy, so I gulped it down in no time.. The grown-ups enjoyed it too!
