There are only two kinds of budae-jjigae, so there's no need to agonize over the choice hahaha. They also have pork cutlet as a side dish — apparently it's tasty for the price, though I still haven't tried it. Next time I'll definitely order it haha. The fish cake isn't at the self-serve bar — if you ask for more they'll stir-fry a fresh batch. The three servings of Cheongwon budae-jjigae we ordered were seriously overflowing... I wondered if we could even finish it hahahaha. Seeing it in person, the portion is truly massive — maybe we should've just ordered two servings plus the pork cutlet(?).. This is exactly why it's a must-visit spot!!!! Bubbling away, it was insane — even though our kids are in elementary school, they ate it fine and said it wasn't spicy. I usually can't handle Vienna sausages because of the smell, but this budae-jjigae's sausage had none of that, so I ate it happily. Even stuffed to bursting, it was so good we scraped the pot clean to the very end. If you're eating Korean food in Dujeong-dong, this is the place, no question.
