I was looking for a place to stay in Danyang and ended up visiting Soseonam Hwangto Village Guesthouse (｡•ω•｡) I heard it was a guesthouse tucked in nature right in front of Soseonam Valley, so I booked it wanting some quiet rest. It's located at 38-44 Daejam 2-gil, Danseong-myeon, Danyang-gun, Chungbuk, near Soseonam Valley. Check-in is after 15:00, check-out before 11:00, and there's on-site parking with plenty of space so I never worried about that. You can book through Naver Reservations, and private barbecue is available for ₩20,000 (4 people or fewer) or ₩30,000 (5 people). In-room cooking is allowed, but there's no pickup service. It was quiet and the air was clean, giving us a sense of ease you can't really feel in the city. Every room is built of red clay brick, so the atmosphere is great, and having Soseonam Valley right out front makes it a really good spot to rest in nature. It suits family trips, couple trips, trips with parents, and even group gatherings or workshops. Parking is plenty too, so getting around by car was never a hassle.
