## In short

Deulbabae Forest Resom Branch is a Korean set-meal restaurant on the 3rd floor of the Forest Club building at Resom Forest Resom in Jecheon, Chungbuk. Three of us visited for lunch after checking in at Resty, ordering the Healthy Table A set (barley-dried croaker and stir-fried pork) plus one extra individual set, served with 9 side dishes, braised pollack, cheonggukjang stew, and stone-pot rice. The seasoning was mild and tables were spaced wide, making it an easy lunch spot for families with a stroller.

We visited Deulbabae for lunch right after checking in at Resty at Resom. It's a neat, delicious Korean set-meal restaurant — a great spot for a family visit.

## How to get to Deulbabae

![Exterior of the Forest Club building at Resom Forest Resom](https://img.superchart.com/images/jecheon-resom-forest-korean-set-deulbabae/jecheon-resom-forest-korean-set-deulbabae-02-uofkj-966.webp)

This restaurant sits inside the Resom Resort, on the 3rd floor of the Forest Club building. It's right next to the Resty building, so we headed straight there after checking in!

From Resty, walk over to Forest Club, take the elevator near the lobby, and the restaurant is right there when the doors open on the 3rd floor. We visited on a weekday for lunch, so there was no wait.

## Interior vibe and dining with a baby

The floor-to-ceiling windows open onto a forest view, giving the whole place an airy, open feel! The restaurant is spacious with generous table spacing, so it was easy to bring in a stroller. Since it's located inside the resort, there were lots of families around, and the atmosphere felt totally relaxed for dining with a baby. Baby chairs are available too. You don't need to be a resort guest to eat here, and there are rooms for events like family gatherings, meet-the-parents dinners, or first birthday parties.

## Deulbabae menu and prices

Deulbabae, a Korean food spot at Resom Resom in Jecheon, serves everything as a full table setting.

### 📍Deulbabae Table (includes basic set, order for 2 or more)

- Stir-fried pork table ₩25,000
- Barley-dried croaker table ₩30,000
- Soy-marinated crab table ₩30,000
- Grilled mackerel table ₩23,000

### 📍Deulbabae set menus

- Spring Snow Table (2-person set + stir-fried pork + grilled mackerel) ₩62,000
- Healthy Table A (2-person set + barley-dried croaker + stir-fried pork) ₩69,000
- Healthy Table B (2-person set + soy-marinated crab + stir-fried pork) ₩69,000
- Nature Table (2-person set + barley-dried croaker + soy-marinated crab) ₩74,000

### For three people, a set menu is the easier way to go

We came as a group of three, so we ordered Set A plus one extra individual set. The Deulbabae Table requires ordering 2 or more of the same main dish, which means even a group of three would have to settle on one main. The set menus, on the other hand, come with two mains, so we got to try a wider variety. We ordered the Healthy Table A, which includes barley-dried croaker and stir-fried pork, plus one extra individual set to make it work for three.

Side dishes can be refilled freely at the self-serve corner, and there's dessert too, which was nice for cleansing the palate after the meal.

## What's on the Healthy Table A spread

![Braised pollack and cheonggukjang stew](https://img.superchart.com/images/jecheon-resom-forest-korean-set-deulbabae/jecheon-resom-forest-korean-set-deulbabae-14-3sbvm-966.webp)

It's a full table setting that comes standard with 9 side dishes, a savory pancake, braised pollack, and cheonggukjang (fermented soybean paste) stew. The barley-dried croaker (a mildly salted, semi-dried croaker) included in the set came already prepped for easy eating, and the stir-fried pork could be ordered in soy sauce or spicy-sauce style — we went with the spicy version. I also loved that the rice was served in a stone pot.

Every one of these side dishes is the kind that makes you eat extra rice, so we paired them with plain white rice, then finished off with sungnyung (scorched rice tea)!

## So how did it taste?

Overall the seasoning was mild across the board, which I liked, and the side dishes felt clean and paired well with the mains. The salty barley-dried croaker is tasty on its own, but even better laid over a spoonful of sungnyung. The braised pollack was soft, and the stir-fried pork wasn't spicy, which I appreciated too. The cheonggukjang stew that comes as a default side looks unassuming but was deeply savory and delicious.

Sitting by the window gave us a great view, and honestly the food tasted even better for it. A healthy, delicious Korean table spread — I'd recommend Deulbabae as a Jecheon Forest spot worth trying.
