Get off on the third floor of Sinyeong Building in Sinbuldang and you will see this clean, polished massage shop right from the entrance. It is a reputable, legitimate shop, and experienced therapists provide the treatments, so I could relax and trust the process.

In Sinbuldang, where parking is notoriously difficult, there is a spacious basement lot, so I parked comfortably. I visited after lunch to shake off some fatigue, and it was pleasantly quiet. Outside, though, it was practically parking hell.

As soon as I walked in, the softly scented aroma and upscale Thai-style interior caught my eye. When I feel like an indoor date in Cheonan, I sometimes come for a couples massage, and a clean yet refined interior like this is probably the first thing I notice.

Once you are assigned a treatment room, you are shown to the foot-bath room. The foot-bath time is separate from the massage time, so you can enjoy it for as long as you like.

When choosing a massage shop in Cheonan, the condition of the bed is something you really need to check. This one was immaculate, without a single hair, and dry and fresh rather than damp, so the treatment felt comfortable from the moment I lay down.

After changing into the treatment clothes and waiting, the therapist came in. I was here for Rutai Massage's aroma massage, so I booked 90 minutes that day. The owner told me again that this was a therapist many customers specifically request.

If you tell them before booking which areas you want treated or which therapist you prefer, they will accommodate you as kindly as possible. With massage, it is all about the therapist's touch—that is why you go—and this therapist had many years of experience. They really found the spots that were bothering me and worked on them.

Because it was an aroma massage, it was gentle but still used pressure to release the tension, and it felt like old, built-up fatigue was melting away. I could feel how wholeheartedly the therapist worked, enough to work up a sweat. I had slept awkwardly that day, so my lower back and shoulders hurt in particular; they noticed and adjusted the pressure as they treated me. Being able to communicate during the session made my body feel lighter after each area was worked on.

They use good aroma oil, so in my case I tend to go home without showering first. They say that leaving it on for around 2–3 hours before washing slowly helps it absorb into the skin, which is good for relieving fatigue and moisturizing the skin.
