It's open 11:00-21:00 and closed every Sunday. Walking into Cheongwon, an open kitchen and wide table seating in the back catch your eye, with sunlight streaming in for a bright, clean interior. Of course I first skimmed the "how to enjoy Cheongwon" guide, then read up on the difference between Songtan budae-jjigae and Cheongwon budae-jjigae — and today, ordered Songtan budae-jjigae for two!! Budae-jjigae basically demands noodles and rice, and at Cheongwon you can eat without worry. Various hams, green onion, onion, a refreshing broth, and plenty of 1++ Korean beef mince, all packed into the budae-jjigae for two. Different types of sausage are mixed in too, so you get a range of textures and flavors. Even though it's meant for two, the ingredients are so generously piled on that the Songtan budae-jjigae looks hearty just from the photo. It was packed with plenty of egg, making it really soft yet neatly rolled. I thought about adding an extra noodle add-on, but decided to stick with the basic version and taste it as it is haha. All the hams were technically ham, but each type had a different texture — some chewy, some soft — all savory and delicious.
