On a fully booked weekend evening we ordered a pork assortment platter, kimchi mari guksu (cold kimchi noodle soup) and bibim guksu (spicy mixed noodles), grilled the wet-aged pre-seared pork with roasted gim (seaweed), mentaiko mayo and homemade pepper pickles, and finished with dessert ramyeon. A true local gem! Luckily there were one or two seats left so we sat down with no wait. Families made up maybe 2/3 of the crowd? The rest seemed to be couples or friends. Quietly beloved by Dong-gu locals, and it showed — plenty of regulars stopping by haha. My partner said the side dishes were legendary, best banchan of any place we've been. To me it felt exactly like home-cooked food, cozy and comforting. Especially that kimchi jeon!!! The juiciness was insane.
