Obongjip is a place I think of now and then because you can eat octopus stir-fry and bossam (boiled pork belly) together. This time we didn't hesitate and went straight for the nakji bossam value set. There were quite a lot of varieties, which made it fun to try one at a time. The stir-fried Vienna sausages are a total kids'-favorite hit. Every time I come to Obongjip, I turn into a seaweed soup fiend. They serve it in a huge bowl instead of a regular soup bowl, so it's satisfying every time. If you order delivery, you only get a single serving, sigh. Since I love seaweed soup, I always eat happily whenever I have a meal at Obongjip, haha. That day too, I took a spoonful of seaweed soup first — mild and delicious. Above all, the octopus stir-fry sauce practically demands rice, so adding extra rice was a decision I didn't regret at all. With several banchan coming out and a self-serve bar available, it was great for adding extra bits and pieces while eating.
