We didn't even have to think about it — just ordered everything we wanted, haha. ## First to arrive: rolled omelet and flat dumplings The first thing to show up at the table was the rolled omelet and flat dumplings! When you spot a rolled omelet as a side at a dakdoritang place, it's hard to just walk past it, right? It was great for nibbling on while the main dish was cooking. Just from the crispy look, your hand keeps reaching for more, haha. Honestly you could just order the dakhanmaritang alone, but ordering these sides on top made it feel like we'd laid out a proper spread before the main dish even arrived. They'd shaped egg into a chicken! There was an actual, adorable little chicken sitting on top of the dakhanmaritang, so of course we had to take a photo before eating. The human stomach is a mysterious thing, haha. Even though it was just the two of us, the table was so full it genuinely felt like a proper night out, haha. ## Finishing the pot with fried rice Okay. We ate the rolled omelet. We ate the flat dumplings. We ate the dakhanmaritang too. So should we head home now? We were already pretty full, but there was no way we were skipping this, so we ordered fried rice to finish it off. The fried rice went into the pot and round two of the meal began, haha. Just minutes earlier we'd been saying "ah, I'm so full~" and yet there we were, spoons back in hand. And sure enough, I noticed I kept sipping it nonstop. A glass with the dakhanmaritang, a glass with the rolled omelet, another glass with the fried rice... in the end, the two of us emptied two whole pots of barley tea that day, haha.
