So I applied for vacation and suddenly ended up traveling to Danyang. It was free, so it was nice to park with ease. Whenever I travel somewhere, it is fun to visit the local market and browse around. Since I visited on a weekday evening, some shops had already closed early. Actually, I only learned that Danyang was famous for black garlic on this trip. Danyang Heukmaneul Nurungji Dakgangjeong had a large sign, so it was easy to find. Come to think of it, when looking for this place, you could probably find it easily by looking for the shop with lots of people waiting. > The best dakgangjeong of your life It seems to have been featured on several TV programs as a must-visit restaurant. Black garlic makgeolli is also sold right beside it. The tasting corner had both flavors available. But the original flavor was sold out. There was plenty of nurungji, and as I ate, I found lotus root and potato too. The chewy texture of the dakgangjeong came through with the garlic aroma and sauce. Even at ₩20,000, the portion was enormous.
