Walking in, the first thing that caught my eye was how spacious the salon was, bigger than I expected. The overall color scheme was white, beige, and gray tones, giving it a clean yet calm mood. Natural light poured in through the large windows, and the seats weren't cramped together, so it was comfortable even during a long perm session.

The area where products were displayed had a nice sense of style too, and on one side there were swatches of colored fabric laid out. At first I wasn't sure what they were for, but it turns out they're used to check your personal color and factor that into choosing a dye color.

I got my shampoo and spa treatment nearly lying down in a massage chair. Long treatments like a perm can get tiring if you're sitting the whole time, but lying back like this in the middle felt like a real break.

There was a wide range of drinks too, from Americano to café latte, iced tea, orange juice, green tea, burdock tea, and chamomile. During a long treatment, these small touches were surprisingly nice.

## The finished style: how much crown volume?

The first thing I looked at when I saw the finished look was, of course, the crown. Usually my hair falls flat quickly no matter what I do, which always stressed me out, but this time I could clearly see the natural volume from the root volume perm lifting from the crown.
