## A group-friendly pork belly restaurant near Hongik University Station

I've actually come here quite a few times before. It's close to Hongdae Station and also an easy stroll from Hapjeong Station, so it's really accessible. Maybe because it's in Hongdae, there are always a lot of foreign visitors too, and with so many tables, groups are always welcome!!

## Marinated crab, mustard and the side dishes at Gogi Salon

Pork belly absolutely calls for soju-beer!

They even serve marinated crab here — a slightly spicy marinade with a crab packed full of meat.

Spicy braised cheongyang peppers.

Mustard and wasabi were also set out, and eating them with the pork belly is a real treat 🖐

## Flower pork neck grilled for you at the table

At most BBQ places you're so busy grilling and chatting that you can barely eat, but here they grill it right beside you so all you have to do is eat! I watched the meat sizzle away and grabbed it the moment it was ready 😆

Thinly sliced flower pork neck with an insane texture — genuinely so delicious! I didn't even realize this was pork neck. It was so good I kept asking the owner about it :)

## Bibim guksu and chicory salad included in the meat set

The bibim guksu (cold spicy mixed noodles) that came with the set had a tangy sauce that was seriously good! A bite of pork belly, a bite of noodles 🩷 my friend kept raving about it too.

Sweet-and-tangy dressed chicory salad. The chicory's slight bitterness pairs really well with the spicy-tangy dressing and the meat.

You can practically see the shine just from the photo! Tender and juicy, with a burst of juice as you chew 😆😆 You can really feel how devoted the owner is to the meat here. Both the pork neck and the pork belly are excellent!

## Why we ordered extra meat at Gogi Salon

It was so good my friend and I ordered extra meat! Even stuffed, we just kept eating :)

Honestly, you need meat at least once a week. It's been so hot lately and my energy's been dropping, but after eating good meat like this, my skin somehow glows and I feel energized again 🤭🤭🤭

Chadol doenjang sulbap (beef brisket and soybean paste rice), ₩6,000. I ordered this separately, and I would've been disappointed if I hadn't! It's packed full of rice too, so this alone will fill you right up.

A place where both the meat and the carefully made homemade side dishes are delicious. It's the kind of Hongdae meat spot you become a regular at after just one visit. Next time I really want to try their signature marinated beef short ribs ♡ My return visit rate is 100%
