Driving along with the sea in view made all the stress that had built up just melt away, haha. The ocean really is wonderful whenever you visit. Unlike regular jajangmyeon, its biggest appeal is that it stays warm until the end. It was full of nutty meat juices with no unpleasant odor, so it was delicious on its own and even better dipped into the sweet-tangy sauce, haha. Thick slices of bread were packed with plump shrimp, so every bite burst with bouncy texture and savory flavor. The combination of crisp-fried bread and moist shrimp was wonderful—I do not know how many times I said I was glad we ordered it, haha. It was such a happy, satisfying day: delicious food in a lovely setting and as much wide-open ocean as we could want.
