Then my spicy shabu pho arrived! The menu description at Myeonsikdang said it was Yeolramyeon-level spicy, and after spooning up the broth, I can fully confirm that. True to the name 'Myeonsikdang' (noodle restaurant), it seemed to have just about every noodle dish imaginable. From the summer-only chogye naengsoba (cold sesame-vinegar soba) to pho, udon, mazesoba, and ramen, they offer a wide range of noodle dishes at great value, so it's a good spot to visit with a friend without any arguments over what to order (?) At first glance, the color doesn't look that spicy, right? The beef on top had no gamey smell at all, and since I really love bean sprouts, I was happy there were plenty of crunchy ones!
