The mala skewer's mala flavor wasn't too strong, so it wasn't very spicy for our taste! The octopus wasn't tough at all — I usually don't like chewy textures much, but this was soft and chewy at the same time and really tasty! Totally recommend the fritter! The slushy beer paired really well with the skewers and fritter too — cold and fizzy, perfect as a drinking snack! ## Is Munkkocchi worth it for a Hanok Village late-night snack? Jeonju Hanok Village has so much food to choose from that it can be hard to decide where to go. If you're looking for simple street food to grab while traveling, like I was, give Munkkocchi a try! If you like octopus, go for the skewer or fritter, and if you can't eat seafood, there are chicken skewer options so you can pick what suits your taste haha We got it to go and ate it at our stay — it's great for a simple bite while exploring the Hanok Village, and also perfect as a late-night snack or drinking snack at the stay in the evening. The cheese octopus fritter especially was way more delicious than I expected, so much so that I'd want to try it again next time I'm back in Jeonju Hanok Village!
