There's parking for about 4 cars right in front, so it's easy to visit. We parked right in front and had no trouble at all — parking around Gijang Ilgwang can honestly be a hassle, so having dedicated spots here was great. The inside is neatly arranged and feels clean for a BBQ restaurant. There's also a space set up like a private room, which looked great for reserving ahead for a group dinner. There's also a self-bar with side dishes, mushrooms and lettuce wraps, so you can just grab what you need and eat comfortably. Hahaha. The minimum first order is 3 servings, but honestly the ribs are so good you just keep ordering more, like magic. As a pair, we ordered 2 servings of raw ribs + 3 servings of seasoned ribs + 2 noodle dishes. Every time I come to Hong-i-jip, I'm reminded how genuinely good the ribs are. And when you order a bibim naengmyeon to go with it midway through grilling, it's just as good. Personally, when I eat ribs or grilled meat, bibim naengmyeon as the noodle course is so satisfying. Hong-i-jip Ilgwang has both mul naengmyeon (cold noodle soup) and bibim naengmyeon, and the bibim version is really excellent, haha.
