So it's Friday night and I properly stuffed my face haha, time to introduce this restaurant!

This used to be the Sagyejinmi Charcoal Dakgalbi Guro Digital branch, but recently the name changed entirely to 'Bak Jeongmi Dakgalbi'! The location and quality stayed the same, so if you used to go to Sagyejinmi, don't get confused — just come find this place instead.

## How to get there from Guro Digital Complex Station

Location: exactly 100m walk from Exit 2 of Guro Digital Complex Station in Guro-gu, Seoul! It's on the 3rd floor of Huijeon Building.

It's right next to Jigu-sseulmaek, and close to Mayb Cafe, Hollys Coffee, and Sokcho Squid Fish Market, so it's easy to find. Hotels like Four Points, Shilla Stay, and Lotte City Hotel are all nearby too, making it perfect for company dinners or group gatherings around Guro Digital Complex.

## Friday night atmosphere and prices

Wide, comfortable interior! We went up to the 3rd floor and opened the door, and the place was seriously huge. We visited on a Friday night so it was already packed and buzzing with people. But the restaurant itself is so spacious and the tables are spread out enough that we could still eat comfortably. (It's way bigger in person than in photos... my photography skills failed me, sorry, moving on~)

For reference, it's ₩20,500 per adult for 2 hours of all-you-can-eat charcoal dakgalbi + pork belly + chicken + self-bar, and for just ₩9,900 more you get unlimited soju and draft beer too!

## What's at the self-bar?

As soon as we sat down, we headed straight for the self-bar. Dakgalbi, chicken, all kinds of wrap vegetables — the variety is insane.

## Starting with soy sauce chicken as an appetizer

While the meat cooked, we grabbed some soy sauce chicken from the self-bar first — sweet, salty, and crispy enough to open its own chicken shop, genuinely so good. Perfect for calming a hungry stomach. Turnover is fast so it's always freshly fried and warm.

Grilled it sizzling on the pan and took a bite — zero gamey taste, meat was so tender. Clean flavor that keeps you eating.

Sweet, salty, spicy seasoned dakgalbi. After cleansing the palate with salt-grilled, we moved straight to the seasoned version. The special sauce really soaks in, and with the charcoal aroma layered on top, the umami is incredible. Great wrapped in lettuce too.

## Thin-sliced grilled pork belly and instant tteokbokki corner

Thin-sliced grilled pork belly. While we were eating dakgalbi, they kept grilling pork belly on the side too! It's thin so it cooks fast, keeping the flow going, and the fat coating everything is an insanely good pairing. Being able to endlessly demolish chicken and pork at the same table — pure happiness. Honestly thin-sliced pork belly has gotten so expensive lately it's been bumming me out. This place solved that problem completely lol.

Looking at other tables, people were cooking instant tteokbokki right at the self-bar?! Everyone had their own pot of tteokbokki going and eating happily... I was already stuffed from the meat so I gave up. Next time I'll save room for the instant tteokbokki too...

## Finishing with pan-fried rice

No matter how full you are, you can't skip the fried rice. We grabbed rice, seaweed flakes, and sesame oil from the self-bar, chopped up the leftover meat, and fried it all right on the grill. Let it crisp up slightly on the bottom, then scrape it all up — the perfect finish.

The meat quality was way better than you'd expect for an all-you-can-eat spot, and the restaurant is spacious and comfortable, so I'm definitely coming back with a bigger group of friends next time!
