I wanted to take more photos but there were so many customers I couldn't bring myself to ㅠㅠ We came pretty early and there were already plenty of guests, and by dinnertime the place was packed. No wonder Gankeun Galbi is so popular ㄷㄷ And Gankeun Galbi also has a separate kids' playroom inside!! It's even pretty big!! No wonder there are so many families here — that explains it. The self-bar at Gankeun Galbi has tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), seasoned fried chicken, croquettes, lettuce wraps and even ramyeon (instant noodles). We looked around, found a seat, and went straight for the self-bar~~ Honestly, isn't this self-bar way too well stocked?! The tteokbokki, fried chicken, croquettes — everything looked so appetizing. Overall the self-bar was so clean too, which I loved *^^* There was also a good variety of vegetables — lettuce wraps, jaerae-gi (young radish kimchi), onions, pickled sides, kimchi — all great to eat with the meat. And the meats!! Besides pork ribs, pork belly and makchang, there was also beef heart and pork skin! I could just grab whatever I wanted without hesitation haha. Whenever something ran low, the staff would notice and refill it right away!! Really well managed. And the ramyeon! They had Jjapaghetti and spicy Jin Ramyeon. And they're serious about the ramyeon here too. All kinds of add-in ingredients were prepared right beside it.
