After work, I ordered the 2-person grilled mackerel set for 15,000 won with unlimited side dishes, doenjang-jjigae, and barley rice. It’s about a five-minute walk from Mangpo Station Exit 1. The interior actually had a lovely traditional feel. Then you can take your empty plates to the self-bar! The barley rice looked good, and the doenjang-jjigae and grilled mackerel both looked amazing too. Drizzle sesame oil over the barley rice like this, and it’s complete! Maybe it was especially good sesame oil, because the nutty aroma was just wonderful. The doenjang-jjigae was rich and earthy and so tasty too. Since there’s such a variety to try, I think parents would really love it here.
