These evening temperatures are exactly what outdoor-seating season is for. It's honestly sad how quickly this weather passes! Pizza E Michida Konkuk had a wide-open terrace, a true pizza-and-beer sanctuary for catching the cool breeze while eating.

The whole front of the shop opens up, so you can enjoy pizza and beer on the terrace with the wind in your face — such a nice atmosphere. The interior is done up in a stylish, hip style too, great for selfies, making it an appealing date spot. The tables aren't cramped together either, so it's a good layout for chatting quietly with a partner or catching up with friends. Perfect space to get a little tipsy on the mood over a beer.

From pizza to pasta, the menu had plenty of variety and the prices across the board were so reasonable that we could order freely without worrying about the bill. And with pizza, there's one thing that's simply non-negotiable — ice-cold draft beer.

We ordered a half-and-half pizza to try a variety of flavors. Rucola with garlic shrimp on one side, potato bacon on the other — a combo you can always trust. The cheese looked lusciously melted and dripping, baked oven-style so the crust was crispy outside and still chewy inside.

The rucola garlic shrimp half had plump, bouncy shrimp paired with the faintly sharp bite of rucola for a sophisticated, appealing flavor. The potato bacon half was the classic done right — fluffy, savory potato loaded with crispy bacon. Both paired so well with a sip of the frosty beer that all the stress just melted away.

A rich, thick cream base with a touch of Toowoomba's signature spicy kick gave the pasta a clean first bite and finish. And the value was beautiful — the portion was generous, and above all it was packed with plump shrimp, to the point where almost every bite came with a whole shrimp.

We added bread and thoroughly mopped up the leftover pasta sauce with it. Bread soaked in that thick, spicy-savory sauce was a real treat. Thanks to the pleasant truffle flavor, this pasta seemed exactly the kind of thing women would love.
